How do you feel about this? its not fair, this makes me angry!?

That is so sad. I knew a girl that was around 38 weeks, when to her regular doctors appt, they couldn't find a heart beat, so sent her to the emergency room right away. The hospital checked for a heart beat for like an hour instead of just delivering the baby. Then after pronouncing the baby dead they made her go into labor with the baby being transverse breach. There was no way she could have pushed the baby out, after about 5 hours of pushing they finally did a c section. Can you imagine? I so not trust hospitals to always make the rigt decisions. When it comes down to it it is just another person with an opinion making decisions for you, the only difference is they have an education for it. I also feel that no amount of money could make up for what she lost. And with the home birth situation, I think it is a very wrong move. I am planning a homebirth. It is just as safe as a hospital birth, midwives know what they are doing. Most doctors don't really care what happens or how you have the baby, if it is a c-section it is more money for them. I like the personal relationship that I have with my midwife.
