My boyfriend is driving me mad he never thinks for himself.?

This may be harsh but you need to sit down and have a very HONEST, CALM, OPEN conversation with him and confront him. Let him know that you are VERY serious and if he is not willing to change for the better or open up, then that means he does not care. If he doesnt care, you shouldnt either. The best thing to do is to put EVERYTHING out on the table. Get it off ur chest. The conversation should not end until an agreement is made. Remember this is NOT an argument. If he cant see that this is an important matter. LEAVE HIM. Also, listen to what he has to say too though. As far as your kids having their father around, he's obviously not going to make a difference if he's there or not seeing that he's lazy and doesnt really make an effort to be a good father. Trust me kids KNOW when their parents are having problems and you guys are stressing them out too. If you make an effort to make you relationship with him much easier, then that is less stress on the kids too. Helping you two helps the kids. They know what's going on. If yo dont do anything or if you cant grow some strength to make things right, your children will lose respect for the both of you. Do it for the children.
