Is Baseball really that dirty or is it the first sport to be discovered?

I completely agree about Merriman. He really let me down when I heard about that. To answer your first question, it's both. Baseball is that dirty and it's also the first to really be probed and looked in to. Football has had a steroid problem for many years but since football and violence and big strong testosterone filled men all go hand in hand I don't think people are as shocked by them using steroids so the publicity is small. I would love to see the games I care about get cleaned up on all sides. Until we as fans stop watching, I don't know what else can be done.
