Last night I asked about God and magic...due to a lack of answers I am trying again..........?

When Christians talk among themselves about that verse, they usually agree that it is a miracle story, but when talking to an outsider, they quickly change their tune. They realize that firstly miracles do not occur and secondly, this is not much of a miracle anyway, so they declare that the fig tree represents Judaism and the text is telling us what Jesus thought of Judaism at that time. Christians quite happily flip-flop between the two versions, so it is a waste of time trying to pin them down to any specific explanation.
