What happens to the Y Chromosome during mitosis?
The Y chromosome is double (made of two chromatids) prior to mitosis just like all the chromosomes, it just has a different shape. The picture in the link shows the X and Y chromosome and you can see the Y is logous to the bottom half of the X.
