Who and why do you have as your avatar?

Mine is quite obviously a pirate girl.. when I first came on here.. Baggy was a pirate captain and invited me to join his crew. I did.. but he jumped ship.. I used to have a parrot, but he left and went off to follow Jose Mourinho. I have tried to change my avatar but the regs all say they like this one. I do change it during the WC for something patriotic.
